What is www.yahoomail.com ?
Yahoomail.com is the email service of Yahoo. The email is free to sign up. It has been was formed in 1997. According to wikipedia, it is the largest web email service. It came out long before gmail.com. But the presence of gmail made yahoo to rethink what it does. For instance, before gmail, yahoo had a limit of space for its free users and premium users. But when gmail came out, yahoo had to increase the space capacity. Yahoo also integrated its yahoo messenger to its email account. That is, someone can chat on from his/her email without signing into yahoo messenger. This made chatting fun.
I like the new yahoomail, because you now open emails like tabs. Just like a browser, instead of you hitting the back and forward buttons most of the time, you would just have to switch tabs now. This is very good. This has reduced a little pain.
Another I like now is that yahoo is integrating its services with its email. For instance, if you log out of your yahoomail.com account, you would be taken to yahoo news page. And the news on that page are good and informative. That is good for people that don’t remember to go to a news website to read their news. Instead Yahoo made the news to come to them.
Also, just like google, yahoo has integrated their email service with the money making service with is Yahoo publisher network. It puts ads on your site. If someone clicks on any ad, you make money from it. Yahoo publisher network is an alternative to google adsense.
